Bitcoin · capital strategy · financial infrastructure

Advisory work where Bitcoin, capital and financial infrastructure meet.

I work with a limited number of founders, investors and institutions on the gap between thesis and execution: positioning, capital strategy, institutional propositions, treasury questions and the operating discipline required to move.

A good thesis is not enough. It has to survive clients, capital, timing, regulation, internal politics, risk and execution.

Focus

Bitcoin is the center of gravity, but not always the only question.

Most work starts where conviction meets a real-world constraint: capital, counterparties, regulation, risk, distribution, governance or timing.

Company side

For founders and operators

I help companies building Bitcoin and financial infrastructure clarify positioning, capital strategy, institutional propositions and the next moves required to execute.

Capital side

For investors and institutions

I work with investors, family offices and financial institutions assessing where value accrues around Bitcoin and infrastructure, and what that means for allocation, diligence or partnership.

Practice

The work usually falls into four areas.

01

Strategy

Clarifying what the business is becoming, who it is for, why now, and how to explain it without flattening the nuance.

02

Capital

Investor materials, market maps, treasury questions and the reasoning that connects a long-term thesis to a practical capital decision.

03

Institutions

Propositions, stakeholder maps and preparation for serious counterparties, where trust, risk, timing and approval paths matter.

04

Operating intelligence

Research systems, portfolio maps, decision workflows and AI-enabled tools that keep information current without replacing judgment.

How I work

Start with the real constraint.

Sometimes the constraint is product. Sometimes regulation, capital, risk, timing, ownership, incentives, trust or simply the wrong story for the room. I try to make the constraint visible, then help build the next move around it.

Engagements are selective by design. I work with a small number of clients at a time, where the question is important enough for senior attention and the work can change a strategic, capital or commercial outcome.

About

I work where Bitcoin, capital and financial infrastructure meet.

The useful work is rarely a single opinion or deck. It is usually the quieter work around the decision: making the real constraint visible, sharpening the commercial path, and helping the right people understand what should happen next.

My background spans consulting, investment management, family offices and regulated financial infrastructure, including senior and entrepreneurial roles with Sygnum Bank, BitBox and aeris CAPITAL, now Calibrium.

I have spent much of my career translating between builders, investors and institutions: helping ideas survive diligence, risk questions, internal politics and the practical realities of bringing something to market.

Today I advise a small number of clients on Bitcoin infrastructure, capital strategy and institutional adoption, supported by private research and operating systems for clearer decisions and better execution.
